Until I was a mother, I did not fully appreciate the value of going to the bathroom alone, quietly, with the door closed and remaining closed in peace. I am pretty sure I am not alone on this one.
Amen sister! I just want to add one comment...every time I sit down on the potty, I feel like I dont have any toilet paper and have to yell for some. And I think I change the toilet paper out every day!
Sometimes I just think that would be the perfect day. To go to the bathroom quietly, all by myself. No one to commentate on the activities going on or children fighting expecting me to somehow help??? Aahh, what would that be like!?!
